The script for a theatrical production
of Norton Str33t is now available. I
have fully adapted the script as a stage
play, with stage directions, lighting,
blocking commentaries and pieces of
business and fast-paced dialogue and
interactions in a single set.

It can be performed royalty-free
anywhere -- of course, you're welcome
to donate any part of the proceeds if
you wish.

One set does it all. 2 male, 2 female
characters -- Bornless One, Mike,
Crystal and Audrey.

This script has been a long time in
coming -- I've been working on it for
the past 35 years on and off, and

stage production.

Get Off The Bus

RUN SILENT, RUN FREE

In order to make excursions into
another dimension, it is necessary
to fully transition. One way to
understand this is to get the idea
that your current life in the
HomeWorld is like riding on a bus.
Suppose you are traveling northward
along a boulevard. You have traveled
this route for many years and you
know it well.

The bus is familiar. You are
comfortable here, with the usual
passengers, the usual driver, the
usual surroundings and passing landmarks.
Everything is well within the comfort
zone, even though there might be an
occasional bump in the road.

Now imagine that you get a "transfer"
from the bus operator. This is a piece
of paper that allows you to take another
bus crosstown. If you remain on the
bus until its final destination, it
will eventually come to the Terminal,
the End of the Line. Until now, you
have always remained on the bus from
Terminal to Terminal, back and forth,
endlessly, it seems.

If you were to disembark, leave this
bus, you would find yourself on the
street. Perhaps it will rain before
the crosstown bus comes. You won't be
aboard the comfortable bus, the bus
you've always been on. You will be
on the cold, wet street, alone and
helpless, not knowing if the connecting
bus will ever come.

How can you leave the comfort of this
bus? It has always served you well,
taken you from one end of the line to
the other, and you have grown accustomed
to the faces of your fellow passengers.
You know what each one will be likely
to do, how they think, how they behave,
how they respond.

The route you always take is very
familiar. You recognize every building
you pass, you know the cars parked
along the street, you see the same
people walking to and from work every
day. There are no surprises in store --
you know how it will all come out.

Even though you are thoroughly tired
of the same old routine, and you are
well aware that it all leads to a Dead
End at the Terminal, you cannot easily
bring yourself to leave the protective
comfort of your Always Bus, The Bus
You Always Take. It is a powerful
struggle to leave its protective cocoon
and go out the exit in the back onto
the cold, wet, windy street outside
the bus. Yet somehow, you manage.

The street is indeed cold, wet and
windy. There is no sign of the
crosstown bus. Cars and taxis drive
past indifferently, the people inside
unaware of your discomfort, your pain,
your agony and your growing despair
and hopelessness.

Then, finally, along comes the
crosstown bus and you board it
hesitantly. Who knows what it will
be like on this bus? The driver is
different, the passengers are
different, and the route is different.
If you hope to survive this journey,
you must also become different from
what you once were and grow into the
differentness that is this crosstown
bus.

If you were to graduate from medical
school, art school or indeed any other
professional academy or university,
you would not expect to walk directly
into a high-paying position. You would
expect to hang your shingle, open
your business doors, and go out there
and hustle up some business.

Nobody with any sense of reality
expects to go directly from school
to instant success. It will take work
and some amount of luck to succeed,
no matter which profession you might
choose.

In the same way, it is impossible to
predict the outcome of change, whether
small or large, lifestream or parallel
world. It really all depends on your
attitude, willingness to extend yourself
beyond the box and your ability to put
your skills to work.

Life Stream changes don't just happen.
They are made. If you remain as you
have always been, you will surely reap
what you have always gotten. Real
change does not come from outside,
but from within. The Advanced

   I am so excited about the new molds and gift  boxes I've ordered, one of  which is the Casino Special, which consists of Blackjack cards, roulette   wheel, a pair of dice and a slot machine, together with actual casino  chips  (which of course have to be boiled to make them food-safe). 

   Note the package at the center, bottom, of the photo: 

   My plan is to place two $100 chips in the receptacles and bring the  whole  thing to a casino with the idea in mind that they send this gift to  their high- rollers and whales. 

   Naturally, some percentage of the recipients will keep the chips, some  will  cash them in, but most, being gamblers, will play them and, of course,  lose  them -- those big casinos were not built as monuments to the winners. 

   What it means is that the casino has attracted someone into their shop,  and  that the cost of the chips will come back to them as winnings -- all  they pay  for actually is the chocolate and the specialty box. 

   I can have the box printed for them as well, so it makes a very hot  presentation package for the casino or hotel/casino for their big  clients. 

   The package at the middle right of the photo is a wine set, consisting  of wine  glass, bottles, cork  and cork-puller, all of course in rich dark chocolate. 

   We're in the middle of the New Wine Country, the foothills of the  Sierra- Nevada, where there are 17 new wineries this year alone. We have 14  wine- tasting rooms along Mill Street and Main Street, several more in Nevada  City, and more are going up every day, due to the new ABC Alcohol  Beverage Control fees and regulations. You can now put in an on-sale  store  for only $1,000 a year in regulatory fees, compared to the hundreds of  thousands it cost just a year or two ago, so every restaurant has an  on-sale  license, and wine tasting rooms are going up everywhere. 

   Another phenomenon is the Fake Wine-Tasting Room. It's a wine bar  disguised as a winery outlet. There are several of them along the street  as  well. My opinion is that the merchants are doing their damndest to  attract  tourist and get them rolling drunk as they promenade down our main  street. 

   I think it'll work. There were some 10,000 tourists on the Winery Tour  this  season, and we're now the starting point for two of the most important  bicycle races in  the country, with expected tourists this year numbering in  the hundreds of thousands, a big jump from several years ago. 

   Wine, chocolate and roses go together. They are inseparable in the  romantic region and legend in the area of weddings, anniversaries, baby  showers, Valentine's  Day and Mothers' Day, and recently Divorce Parties  have become very popular. A marriage is a marriage, but a divorce is  forever. That at least is the theory, although there are exceptions to  every  rule. 

   Chocolates have a definite market in graduation, confirmation, bar and bat  mitzvahs and every other occasion Hallmark Cards can dream up to  celebrate. Chocolates have a definite place at Christmas, Channukah,  Thanksgiving Day and Halloween. 

On the lower right of the photo, you'll see a squarish sort of thing -- it's not the greatest photo and I plan to have it stunningly photographed when I get the first one out of my kitchen. It's non-seasonal, and has an almost universal appeal. It's a Zodiac Bar. I've bought the set of 12 molds to make these, along with 1000 custom boxes to house them. Naturally, my version of these will be in rich dark Costa Rican Single-Source chocolate.

   In the middle row, far right, you'll see a  chocolate greeting card,  measuring  about 8" in length and about 3" in width, by 3/8" deep. Naturally, I'll  be  making it in dark chocolate, and I'll be designing molds for this  best-selling  box. This is the best-selling of all chocolate boxed items with the  singular  exception of the heart boxes, but they only sell at Valentine's Day. 

   The greeting cards will be, of course, for birthdays, graduations,  weddings  and other festive events, but they will also be made in sculptural  relief forms  in my sculpture studio, with all sorts of themes and art ideas. 

To anticipate your question, yes, I can also make the dinosaurs, letters and so forth, if wanted, but it's a minimum order of 1,000 units, so I doubt I'll be doing them. The dinosaurs would be great for museums, and the tooth would work well for dentists and tooth-fairy gifts.

The sports collection has everything; soccer, sailing, raquet sports, tennis, trophy, hockey puck, hockey stick & puck, baseball ball, bat & mitt, golf bag & balls, four major sports set and skiing. These could work well online as well as at sports events, sports bars and sporting goods outlets. Don't forget, chocolates are NOT refrigerated, so they can sit in or on a counter!

   Here is a collection related to DAD and men in  general...We're in an  area  that is very focused on motorbikes -- there are many bike clubs and  biker  bars in the area, and there is an enormous antique car club here, larger  than  most in the country, with thousands of members and a two-hour long  parade  when they have events. 

   The bikes and antique cars are given street fairs every year here, and they  probably are in your hometown, too. Stock car races are everywhere, and  there's a box for them as well. The fishing set would appeal to any  fisherman, and the guitar is an obvious gift, especially in America,  where the  #1 best-selling instrument is the guitar. 

There's a hunting set, tractor-trailer and necktie box as well. Each of these represents an investment of about $600 plus the chocolate and the time and energy to produce them.

LIFE SUCKS, THEN YOU DIE -- THE HIGHER PURPOSE

Sure, we all know life sucks. It
really does. And, sure enough,
after you've lived your short,
miserable life, you do indeed die.
But is that all there is?

The answer is no -- that's not all
there is, unless you've focused your
life on the organic, the biological.
There is a higher life available, but
it's not automatic, not guaranteed.
You have to work for it, and work hard
to attain it.

How can one transcend the organic
biological life?

The first step is to realize that life
sucks, then you die. After that, one
must first hear a rumor that there is
a higher life, a spiritual life, and
that it is possible to attain it, but
that it is not guaranteed, not automatic,
and furthermore, no one else can do this
work for you, you must do it for yourself.

The second step is to find a school which
can prepare you for higher life, and to
enter into it with full intention and
commitment to remain in the discipline
regardless of personal obstacles and
seductive organic and biological
temptations to abandon work toward
spiritual attainment.

The third step is to actually do the work
that leads toward spiritual attainment and
the development of the higher subtle bodies
which make life beyond the biological life
possible.

LIFE SUCKS, THEN YOU DIE -- ON THE STREET

The first lesson you learn in selling
anything is that it's never the price,
never the market, never the product.
It's always about the SELLER.

The BUYER is the focus of the
interaction, but NOT the focus of
ATTENTION of the seller.

The seller must remain focused on the
actual purpose, not the sale of the
product.

What is the actual purpose of the
interaction?

The actual purpose of the interaction
is the interaction itself.

Mostly the interaction consists of
helping the buyer overcome his or her
own objections, superstitions and
self-limitations that prevent the
purchase.

The seller must learn to LISTEN to the
buyer to actually HEAR what the buyer
is saying, what the objections SEEM to
be and to try to listen between the
lines, behind the shadow-show, to
understand what the objections really
ARE.

The buyer will try to say "no" but
will be unable to be honest, and will
thus invent reasons why he or she can't
or won't buy the product.

All those invented reasons MUST be
answered by the seller, even though
they are not honest, not real. They
are the shadow-show that helps the
buyer say "no".

The product is a souvenir of the
interaction. It's something that the
target can take away from the event,
but only works this way if the
interaction is pleasant and positive.

Every "no" is a stepping stone toward
"yes".

Every failure is a stepping stone to
success.

A good seller learns from experience
and eventually sales are made on a
regular basis.

No seller ever makes a sale every time
they try to sell. Rejection takes
getting used to.

Rejection is not personal. It is about
the buyer, not the seller, if the seller
is using the Basic Rules of Sale.

If the seller breaks the Rules of Sale,
the rejection is about the seller.

What are the Basic Rules of Sale?

1. Listen to the buyer.
2. Listen to the buyer.
3. Listen to the buyer.

The whole idea is not to bombard the
buyer with dogma and rationality, but
to LISTEN to the buyer's objections
and GET THE BUYER TO ANSWER THEM himself
or herself.

How you do that is an art, not a science,
but there are definite scientific
principles behind the art.

1. The buyer is on his or her way
elsewhere and you were never a part
of their plan to get wherever they
are going. You are an interruption
in their plan, an obstacle on the path,
so...

2. You must within a small fraction of
the first second of interaction
demonstrate clearly that what you have
is what they want. In your hand should
be something they automatically desire,
that makes the mouth water with
anticipated self-gratification and
pleasure.

3. The interaction MUST be short. They
are on their way somewhere and you
must not be the cause for their delay
or failure to make their way to whatever
it is they are attracted to or driven
toward.

4. Get and maintain eye contact. Do
NOT let your vision stray toward the
product. The product is secondary to
the interaction.

5. Do NOT block the buyer's way. Stay
on the side and keep moving with the
buyer.

6. Follow the simple rule of "spare
change" and realize that you are
actually asking for spare change and
giving a chocolate bar in thanks.

7. Thank the buyer and be sure to say
"you won't be disappointed" after the
sale is completed.

8. Make certain that you don't
concentrate on the money, the product
or the price. It's about meeting and
chatting and having a good interaction,
not about the product, price or marketplace.

THE FIGHT CONTINUES

Back when the Holy Mother Church protected
marriage by enforcement -- meaning you
couldn't leave the marriage, ever, until
death did you part -- couples were stuck
with each other for the remainder of their
time on Earth.

These days only 50% of all marriages
survive the divorce proceedings, and that
number is steadily changing toward the 10%
norm. Why? Because there's less and less
outside force holding them together, and
couples quickly discover that the biological
drives that attracted them don't last very
long.

Competition for boy-toys and boy friends and
fast dates and momentary intimacy with
strangers is powerful enough to drive the
booty dances at singles bars into thriving
social networks, and the internet provides
outlets such as youtube and myspace where folks
can advertise their loneliness and sex drives
to their hearts' content.

The fact is that women used to be able to
count on their youthful looks to be the
"bait" that attracted men, and that they had
until their late teens or early 20s to make
their catch. From then on, it was smooth
sailing.

These days, relationships last an average of
three weeks to three months,although couples
often stay together for as much as three to
five years by sheer momentum. Sometimes it's
the kids who hold relationships together,but
that's becoming less and less true as shared
custody becomes the standard.

What does all this mean?

It means that women are faced with youth in
every direction. Men don't have to worry about
staying young. Women are attracted to men
regardless of appearance -- it's about other
issues like wage-earning, automobiles,housing,
privilege and rank, social position, sensitivity,
humor and good dancing.

For men, it's about the booty, the boobs, the
face, the hair, the giggle and the wiggle.

What that boils down to is that women have
to keep the "bait" in shape.There are
countless ways to do so, offered day and
night on tv -- cosmetics,fashion, jewelry,
anti-wrinkle and anti-blotch ointments, and
especially those infernal booty, boob and
belly machines that slim, trim and firm up
the important parts, the things that really
matter to a man about relationships.

Does this stuff all work to keep
relationships together?

Of course not. Eventually the initial
attraction becomes boring, repetition of
the same old things work to disintegrate
the couple's first-night fever.

Sooner or later, the relationship busts up,
and both partners are back out on the carousel,
looking for new mates, different mates, better
mates...and they find someone exactly like
the last one, only different, and that
relationship takes them a few more weeks,
months or years into the future.

And then what?

It starts all over again, and that means
the makeup, fashions, slim and trim machines,
makeovers, spas, trainings and social
networking, but as this goes on, the couples
get older and older, less and less attractive,
less and less able to depend upon nature to
provide the good looks and slim, trim bodies
they had when they were first starting the
breeding cycle.

And what about beyond the breeding cycle?

There's still that need for the "perfect
partner", but now they're in their fifties
or sixties or seventies or eighties or
nineties. At 50, the slim trim machines
and some of the cosmetics still work.

Even into the 60s, there's a chance that a
nip and a tuck in plastic surgery will help,
but beyond that, there's nowhere to go.

And even with all that commercial help in
preserving youth, the fact is that the
gimmicks are only as good as the initial
attraction. You bait the hook,and catch
a fish, but the fish eventually jumps out
of the basket and goes back into the water
to mate again.

It's an endless dance, and the DJ keeps

Gorebagg's GhostHunter - A Game Review

GHOSTHUNTER is an action-packed, first-or-third person shooter. The player progresses from unranked noob to novice to neophyte to skilled to adept to master as she or he moves through the game. Points are awarded for killing monsters, bosses, opening chests, etc. They are taken away when the monsters hit you, when you buy ammo or take another minute of time. Beginning players may well end with a negative score. You have to be fast, accurate, dexterous and sparing with your ammo to achieve a high score. After some practice you should be able to get through the game in 15—25 minutes or so. The game has no save function, a feature shared by all of the Godd Games so far. You have to start from the beginning each time and play through completely in order to finish a game. At first the game seems repetitive. Upon further examination, however, more subtleties are revealed. Though the layout remains the same for each level, save the last, the monsters appear in different combinations in the chambers and corridors. Thus, higher levels become more difficult as more monsters are added along with the timing of their appearances. Sometimes you think you’ve cleared an area only to find yourself being attacked by more monsters that appear from unexpected quarters. The game is well-paced and engrossing. It achieves the author’s stated aim of raising attention and presence on the part of the player and will stand repeated playing. I recommend it highly to all voyagers everywhere.

Happy Trails Snoopy

Snoopy was in terrible pain for the
past few years. This week was her
absolute worst, a nightmare of pain
for her, with the left rear leg almost
useless, her ability to make the stairs
to the barn for biscuits was virtually
gone by yesterday. She lay quietly in
the back of the house throughout the
night, and at 3 a.m., she was gone,
passing gently into the Long Sleep.

Her last message was, "Thanks for all
the biscuits! See you in L315a!!!"

Readings for Snoopy were performed
within minutes of her passing, and
she's very thankful to be out of pain.

I had gotten up, uncharacteristically
early, 11 pm -- and worked on the
smartphone orb, ZombieJamboree while
she lay resting, preparing to pass.
Once done the orb will carry a Snoopy
character somewhere within it.

The orb is not yet complete...there
are a few more levels to construct,
but it is essentially looking as it
will look when it gets massaged into
the iPhone and G2 apps hopefully in
a few days, in time for a christmas
release.

Snoopy was wagging her tail at the
end, and was well-tended in her last
hours. She hopes for you that when
your time comes, you will have as
easy and gentle a passing as was hers.

Captain Video

Set in a very unclear time period
high up in a secret mountaintop
retreat somewhere on Planet Earth,
Captain Video & His Video Rangers
were live broadcasts of the adventures
of this brave group of space police.
Their uniforms were generally suit &
tie with a football helmet, insignia
glued on rather clumsily. The total
budget per show ranged somewhere around
$25- $100.

Captain Video's sidekick was a youngish
fellow known only as The Video Ranger.
Captain Video's boss was the Commissioner
of Public Safety, whose jurisdiction
involved the western sector of the Miky
Way Galaxy.

Captain Video was DuMont Television's
entry into video broadcasts, starting
in 1949, only two years after the first
public tv sets were offered on sale.
Television sets numbered in the hundreds
at this time.

Tobor -- robot backwards -- was a
featured character on the show, and
was definitely the first televised
robot on public channels anywhere.

The show was broadcast live from the
Dumont Studio in the Wanamaker Department
Store building which was on the way
home from school for me when we lived
in Stuyvesant Town, so naturally I stopped
in after school and sat in the kids'
section behind the enormous early tv
cameras.

Captain Video was as popular with all
ages of viewers, as was I Spy, Get Smart,
Wild Wild West and Man From U.N.C.L.E
during the heyday of the spy shows in
the 1960s.

The show was so popular with adults
that it ran in Prime Time from 7:00
PM to 7:30PM on the Dumont Network,
at what is now news time.

The size of the budget is only apparent
when you note that the curtain separating
the cockpit from the rest of the ship was
at first only a shower curtain from the
housewares department in the Wanamaker
store; the football helmet space gear was
from the sporting goods department, and
many of the props were borrowed from
Wanamaker's and then returned at the end
of the show.

Captain Video's live adventures were
limited during the first three years
to about 20 minutes; Ranger Rogers would
introduce Captain Video's "undercover
agents" and then show a typical Republic
serial featuring cowboys and such.

Dr. Pauli was Captain Video's Moriarty --
he was an insane and malevolent evil
inventor whose inventions always resembled
something you might find in a large retail
department store such as Wanamaker's.
Sometimes they'd take suggestions from us
kids about what to use for Dr. Pauli's
latest invention. I saw several hundred
broadcasts and the prop director was
always appreciative of suggestions from
the Peanut Gallery (yes, I was present at
live broadcasts of Howdy Doody, also, as
well as Magic Cottage, Mr. I Magination,
Kukla Fran & Ollie and more).

The primary spaceship that the producer
settled on was a V-2 style ship called
The Galaxy, since most of the writers on
the show were also writers for my Dad's
science fiction magazine, Galaxy, which
was one of the Big 3 SF magazines of the
1950s.

Richard Coogan created the role of Captain
Video, and did the broadcast for about a
year and a half. When he left the show to
try his hand at live theater on Broadway,
his replacement was Al Hodge, who continued
the role until the show's cancellation in
1955. Al was a good friend and he and his
wife, who I believe was his second marriage,
used to visit us for dinner with the kids,
who I think were his wife's by another
marriage. Another family friend, Don Hastings,
played the Special Ranger throughout the show's
relatively long life, six years, which was a
record for pioneer tv shows along with the
Milton Berle Show which aired during the
same years.

Ed Norton on the Honeymooners is a
character who is a big fan of Captain
Video, and the show is mentioned on the
Honeymooners in at least two episodes.

Station breaks were peppered with
exhortations toward honor, decency
and ethics, along with live commercials
for various Captain Video products --
the most memorable was the pitch for the
Captain Video Decoder Ring which had not
only a decoder and a signal mirror, but
a compass and a two way lens device that
was...well, I'll let the Video Ranger
tell it:

"...and hey, kids, look through this
end and it's a magnifier! Look through
the other end and it's a SMALLIFIER!"

I never forgot that, and we kids roared
with appreciative laughter as he said
that line!

Early on, there were no scripts --
everything was improvised from a general
story outline, but by the year 1952 scripts
were being written by my Dad's stable of
Galaxy SF writers Damon Knight, James Blish,
Jack Vance, Isaac Asimov, Cyril M. Kornbluth,
Milt Lesser, Walter M. Miller, Jr., Robert
Sheckley, M'Intosh, Evelyn E. Smith, Jerome
Bixby, and one script by my Dad,
Horace L. Gold, in collaboration with me,
at the age of 13, my first script and
collaboration with him, but not by any
means the last.

Russell and Haberstroh added special
effects for the show sometime in 1952
using models and 16mm film effect spots
made at the Bunin Studio uptown, inserted
as required by the script. Morey Bunin
was famous for stop-frame animation but
also did a lot of outside work. I worked
for Hope and Morey Bunin on their production
of Alice in Wonderland, and had the delight
of also working on the set of Foodini at
about that same time. Foodini was a
hand-puppet who performed magic tricks.

It was about this time that I met Senor
Wences, who taught me a few simple tricks
of ventriloquism and how to write a
ventriloquist act. He encouraged me to
make my own vent doll and I did. I made
a minor living at this later on in Los
Angeles on Sunset Strip in the 1960s.

Only seven of the many hundreds of Captin
Video shows are available today, along with
24 more in the UCLA film archives. They
alone survived the destruction of the
entire Dumont Film Archive in the mid-1970s,
in which almost all early television shows
were obliterated forever by MetroMedia,
the company that inherited the film archives.
I was working for MetroMedia at the time,
and quit my job in the mailroom in protest
to their stupid short- sighted action so
reminiscent of the destruction of the
Library of Alexandria but frankly, knowing
those cold-hearted bottom-line bastards,
I don't think they noticed a thing.

The use of the Zen Flute to produce
Pusher SoundWaves is similar to the

of floating soap or a tub toy in the
bathwater, and gently splash it with
water pushed by your hand. You will
note that waves develop and propel
the floating item in some direction
away from the hand. Then push some
water from another slightly different
direction. The floating item will
consequently alter its course slightly
or greatly.

This is very comparable to how the
SoundWaves produced by the Zen Flute
move the Essential Self through energy
fields and across Membranes and
dimensional barriers, except that the
Zen Flute SoundWaves are much more
controllable and more highly directional
than hand-produced water waves, and
that their effects are not surface-only
nor are they limited to three dimensional
vertices. Their effect is entirely
non-trigonometric.

The amount of force is not dependent
upon the force of the wind through the
flute. It is controlled by a combinant
variation of flow, quaver, pitch,
complex waveforms and purity, achievable
only with certain grades of flute such
as the Modified Grenadilla and Tulipwood
Zen Flutes.

HIGHER BEACON LEVEL BREAKTHROUGH

Working with Levels 10-12 has proven
very productive with the application
of the Zen Flute along with earlier
induction techniques.

I am releasing Level 9 to those who
have completed 1-8. Integration testing
has become redundant with the release
of SoundWave Integration 1A, which
forms the new intermediate test station,
which is Level 9, now available to
those who have completed the first
8 levels of PuPs.

Level 10 utilizes SoundWave Integration
and Dominant Waveform Guidance with
the protection of the Black Tourmaline
Demon Filters in the SuperBeacon. It
is very exciting and has shown itself
to be a powerful ally when we delve
into the strange and unusual parallel
worlds far beyond the simple parallel
worlds into which we range through
dreaming and psychic voyaging with the
Beacon and verbal inductions.

Level 11 provides some thrills as we
get further out into more adventurous
zones where entirely alien landscapes
and physical laws are dominant. Here
one can obtain voyaging skills undreamt
of and unguessed at, in our limited
scope reality spectrum we call "Earth"
and its ordinary Flat Line Parallel
Worlds within which we have so far
confined our explorations.

Level 12 is our first venture into
somewhat Higher Realms in which we
experience the explosive nature of
forces beyond our small universe with
its membrane contained domains and
energy fields. This first excursion
beyond the realm of physical laws is
one of many which lead to domains far
outside the scope of science and reason.

Level 13 is yet to be explored. I
am currently working on this stage
and will hopefully have the level
released sometime in the next month
or two. It deals with Interconnected
Dimensions and Lateral Transitions,
which must be covered before Level 14's
voyages into Simple-Connected Double
Helix Formations, and once again utilizes
SoundWave Guidance.

Level 14 will explore Double Helix
Parallel Worlds in Complex-Connected
Chain Formations.

Level 15 will utilize SoundWave
Guidance to help voyagers traverse
the Complex-Connected Warps of Parker
Spirals modified by the Zeeman Effect
in Parallel World Combinant and
Re-Combinant Helical Electro-Magnetic
Fields, some contained within boundaries
and some entirely unboundaried
"Wild Domains" with complex variables
and rapid changes in field and effects.

Level 16 will be directed at contacting
PuPs at Higher Levels of Being,existing
in "Wild Domains" and Unified Fields
different from our laws of physics.
It is currently under development
pending some safety issues beyond
the scope of Black Tourmaline Traps.

ZEN FLUTE AS A PRACTICE

The recorder as a Baroque instrument
is not now and never has been of
interest to me. In fact the first
time I had one in my hands was when
I investigated the box containing a
rosewood recorder that had been left
to me by Morgan just before she passed.

It lay in a beautiful antique box
with a shelf below and a double door
on the top, probably originally intended
as a tabletop jewelry box. I opened it
and examined the recorder within. There
was a plastic recorder in the bottom
section, and a very well-made rosewood
instrument in the top, which had the
number "1960" stamped on each of the
three parts -- I assumed this was the
year it was made or the manufacturer's
model number.

I could make out a name also stamped
on the parts -- "von Heune". I went
to the browser and googled the name.
There was, indeed, a von Huene
recorder company located in Brookline,
Massachussetts, so Barbara and I
called them that morning and spoke
to Emily in customer service.

I described what I had in the box,
and she asked for the serial number
of the hand-made instrument. Now I
understood the number on the parts,
and said, "1960". She left the phone
momentarily, and returned to it in
a matter of less than two minutes with
the information about who had purchased
it back in 1987, a full thirty years
before.

She told us something about the model,
which is no longer made, and gave us
the history. Then she said that she
could not guarantee the sound of a
thirty year old unplayed instrument.
It might be great, it might be terrible,
because an instrument like this, made
of fine hardwood, should be played
and cleaned and oiled regularly to keep
it in good condition.

I told her that I'd never played a
recorder. She said, "Can you get a
sound out of it?"

I struggled it together and tooted
on it a few times, then suddenly it
seemed to come alive of itself, and
I was playing all sorts of sounds on
it, but nothing like the Baroque
tootlings I remembered should come
out of a recorder.

"First of all," Emily said over the
phone, "the tones are very sweet and
I can tell you that you have a very
good instrument there. Secondly, you're
playing it as if it were a Shakuhachi
or Native American flute."

"Is that okay?" I asked. "I mean, will
it ruin it?"

"No, no," she replied. "Lots of people
play it in a wide variety of ways.
Modern recorder artists aren't all
Baroque music enthusiasts and there
are many very avante-garde compositions
for the recorder now."

I learned quite a lot about the care
and feeding of a fine hardwood recorder
from Emily, who studies at a conservatory
near Frankfurt in Germany, where many
of the very best recorders are made
along with the American-made von Huene
recorders which have a world-class
reputation.

She also told me that I would probably
appreciate the Alto recorder as the
instrument of choice -- that the soprano
was somewhat limited in repertoire
and function, and that I might even
prefer the deep tenor, and recommended
that I buy a few plastic recorders to
feel my way through this idea.

I bought a Yamaha alto at Foggy Mountain
Music in Grass Valley that day, and went
into the studio with that and Morgan's
soprano von Heune rosewood instrument,
and cut an album with my friend, the
legendary Grammy-winning sound engineer,
Oz Fritz.

Then a second album emerged, and a
third, and a fourth and a fifth and
sixth and seventh...

I quickly realized the potential of
this instrument as a tool for
transformation. It had the effect of
producing a profoundly transportative
sound environment and a decidedly
strong and deep reaction on those who
heard it both in person and on
Youtube.com, where we posted a few of
the cuts from the albums I'd made over
the week, one album per day.

The music came easy to me. Although
I'd never played the recorder, it was
the same for me as the sax, transverse
flute and guitar -- my Parallel
Universe Personae or PuPs had helped me
to instantly master it, as anyone
with a Beacon could do.

I also noted a very strong healing
effect and had the idea that if plastic
flutes could do this, perhaps the wood
flutes would have an even deeper effect.
I kept in mind that the deepest secrets
of natural magic held by the Druids
was Tree Lore...

The upshot of all this is that I
ordered on approval four fine hardwood
recorders, one in pearwood, one in
boxwood, one in maple and another, one
which had appealed to me when I looked
on their website, the Rippert model
in Grenadilla, a very hard, dense darkwood.

The next day, a large package arrived,
within which were the four recorders.
I spent the day testing each one against
the other, looking for the best total
effect.

The result was that I kept all four,
because it turned out that each of them
had a definitely different effect,
especially in the area of spirit healing.

I also noted that the breath was
controlled in different ways by different
woods, and that the breathing was regulated
and trained even better than in the case of
the plastic flutes, which were pretty good
for that purpose to begin with.

The pearwood had the closest sound to
the Shakuhachi and Native American flutes.
The boxwood was similar in its vibrations
and timbre to that of the Turkish Ney.
The maple reminded me of the sound of
early hardwood flutes I'd heard, and the
von Huene Rippert made of Grenadilla -- that
was really something! It had an otherworldy
sound and was by far the most responsive.

I researched it and discovered that
it is described as "the best recorder
made, bar none," by several very famous
recorder artists. I had to agree.

The instruments had arrived next day air.
It was Thursday when they came by UPS.
By the end of the day I had decided to
hold an impromptu House Concert in my
barn on the following night, so we made
a few phone calls to friends, and Jewel
and Lee went down to Sacramento to pick
up 40 brand new and very comfortably
padded folding chairs. I was sure we'd
have at least that many guests, and we did.

We videotaped the event, which is available
on DVD, and at the same time we put it over
our private passworded video channel to a
few friends who were unable to attend in
person.

I was stunned at the reaction, although
I knew we really had something there...after
two and a half hours of Zen Flute music,
people did not want to leave. When they
finally did file out, they did so silently,
as folks will do having just spent some
time in meditation or Satsang.

I'm on the eve of my second Zen Flute
concert, with my friend Tito Rios,
who plays a terrific classical guitar
and has had many concerts with his wife
and performance partner, Petra.

I can now see several values to the
recorder if played as a Zen Flute:

1. It helps to naturally condition and
train the breath in a relatively safe
way, as compared to the stringent breath
training practices of certain types of
spiritual practices, without the need for
continual supervision.

2. The Zen Flute has a profound
transportative effect on both the
player and listener alike.

3. The Zen Flute can be used to
demonstrate the direct personal effect
of PUPs, which is the almost instant
mastery of the instrument provided by
contact with the Parallel Universe Personae
who are able to play it through the player.

4. Zen Flute sounds are definitely a good
source of spirit healing. Different woods
produce different effects on a variety of
physical, mental and emotional ills and
may assist other healing methods such as
allopathic, naturopathic, homeopathic,
medicine wheel and acupuncture techniques.

5. The Zen Flute opens gateways to other
dimensions and realities and makes possible
a better connection to Parallel Worlds.

6. Integration and stabilization of Parallel
Universe Personae are definitely enabled by
listening to and playing Zen Flute as a
disciplined spiritual practice.

7.The Zen Flute is fun to play, and the
music produced by it is quite enjoyable.

8. Hardwood Zen Flutes are profoundly
better than plastic ones, although if
plastic is all that's available or
affordable, they'll do the job.

9. Zen Flute music opens the space and
softens the membranes, making the Beacon
Practices easier. It can be used while
on the Beacon or while wearing one of
the stronger amulets.

I was fooling around on my workbench
a few days ago, mucking about with
a variety of elements, the result of
which is my newest discovery, the
Portal Ammy.

What this does specifically:

1. It tunes you in to any nearby
Portal into some Parallel Worlds.

2. It "softens" the Portal, enabling
you to see and hear through it.

3. It sometimes makes it easier to
meld through the Portal.

4. It can also CLOSE the Portal,
making "rebirth" less probable in
certain circumstances.

5. It does not have the same effect
as the Black Diode in that it is far
more specific to softening, opening
and closing Portals.

The specific action of the Portal
Ammy is to "see" and "hear" into
alternate worlds. It would be very
useful in "haunted" houses where the
Brane skins are very transparent
already. It could be useful in
locating missing items or
possibly for psychics working with
investigators in missing persons cases.
It might also be useful for obtaining
information not available through normal
channels.

The most obvious use is in "witching"
water or gold. I have had a few people
not normally "psychic sensitives"
locate both water and gold deposits
very successfully, however, the laws
governing gold mining are now very
strict and it is no longer possible
in most cases to actually extract the
gold with all the BLM restrictions
and regulations. We found about half
an ounce in just under an hour, which
is NOT enough to justify quitting the
day job, but it is demonstrably
possible, and I intend if possible
to organize a gold-prospecting
workshop for the Thanksgiving workshop.

One other rather interesting and
amusing item; years ago, the kids
buried a small number of rather rare
silver charms somewhere in the
backyard. Using the Portal Ammy,
Barbara successfully located the
burial spot and we recovered all but
one of them. They're actually
worthless, no point putting them up
on eBay, but I found the event very
enchanting, and she now feels rather
empowered by the whole thing.

Anyhow, the Portal Ammy employs a
somewhat expensive set of elements,
but it is so important to me to get
these out there that I am making it
available for the same price as a
Black Diode and no, you can't switch
a Black Diode for this -- I have to
put the money for this item out of
pocket.

One more item:

The fastest way to get these out
there is to give them as presents
this Christmas Season. I'll be
pricing the introductory ammy as
close to the bone as I can in order
to make this possible for everyone.
There isn't any faster or easier way
to get these into people's hands than
to have them wear them and experience
what they are and what can be done

SONGS OF THE FOLKSONG REBELLION

BMI and ASCAP are shaking down every
retail establishment including
non-performance venues where
musicians are no longer permitted
to perform their own music for free.

They claim that they have the right
to "fine" musicians who violate their
prohibitions $35,000 for every single
song they sing in public for free
even if the musician owns the song.

In addition, the venue in which they
sing must pay some $10,000 to allow
musicians to come in and sing their
own songs and/or folksongs in the
public domain, plus royalty fees
for every song they sing based on
the size of the audience, even if
the audience did not pay to attend
and the performance is incidental
to the business, that is to say,
if the musician performs in a
health food store, or a clothing
business.

Morever, they threaten to imprison
folksingers and musicians peforming
their own original music, claiming
the right to enact criminal law as
if they were government agencies.

Not only have BMI and ASCAP wildly
overstepped the boundaries of the
rights of musicians, they are acting
illegally. What they demand is both
against civil and criminal law and
is glaringly unconstitutional. It
is also a violation of Taft-Hartley
and many other racketeering laws of
the United States.

Folksongs have long been an
instrument of protest against
injustice. With these new demands
of BMI and ASCAP and their
mafia-like shakedowns of retail
businesses, their use of stoolie
goons -- they hire local high school
music teachers to inform on
businesses who allow folksingers to
come in to sing for free -- and
their extortion practices,
folksingers can no longer sing
songs of protest against BMI and
ASCAP without fear of multi-million
dollar fines and possible
imprisonment. Doesn't that sound a
bit like some dictatorships you've
heard about???

It's a violation of Free Speech and
a definite Abrogation of Civil Rights,
and millions of folksingers and
songwriters and performers are
joining in an enormous grass-roots
campaign against it. If you are a
musician and/or songwriter, I urge
you to join the class-action suit
now being organized against BMI and
ASCAP.

In the meantime, I urge you to SING
OUT in protest against this merciless
injustice being committed by
organizations who have single-handedly
destroyed the grassroots music and
musicians of this once-free nation.

I have written a number of original
folksongs. They are copyright-free
and performance royalty free. I
urge you to write your own protest
songs and encourage other musicians
to SING OUT FOR FREEDOM from corporate
greed.

Do not fear BMI and ASCAP. They are
800 pound gorillas who will soon fall
from power. The harder they are,

Time Is Not Linear

PAST LIVES PARALLEL LIVES

I have been developing a Past-Lives
Parallel-Lives video which provokes
long-forgotten memories of past and
parallel places, events and people.
Sometimes the people are not human
and not even bipeds, but you'll
always think of yourself and your
friends and family as "people" even
when they're not.

The Visual Stimulus Training starts
at Level 9. You'll need Black
Tourmaline Grippers and a specific
type of portable DVD player. Sound
is carried by the headphones as
usual, so you'll be using the ones
you've been using in the lower levels.

The VS Training works by showing you
sights and sounds of parallel worlds
and a variety of time and space
"arenas" which will provoke vivid
recall of the "hottest" trauma spots
in your pathway through an almost
countless number of parallel
universes.

This will naturally include past
lives, parallel lives and even future
lives, because unlike your experience
in-body, you don't experience time in
a linear format unless you're tied
to the organic sampling which comes
through the human biological machine.

I have a test VS Training system set
up in the Grass Valley Center right
now, and those who are fortunate
enough to be able to come train with
me while I'm in the development stages
will be the very first to experience
this form of Parallel World Training
first-hand.

I'm trying to make all the training
available without a trainer. The
only place I've not been able to do
this so far is on Stage I Level 7,
Stage 2 Level 7 and Stage 3 Level 7
-- that's written: I.7, 2.7 and 3.7
respectively. Those are the
so-called "Checker" levels where
you'll be using a very different type
of device, one not made by me. I
purchase them from a biofeedback
company which has distributed half
a million such devices.

They work just fine for the job and
don't need to be re-invented, although
I don't much like the fact that they
are not in a single box -- they're
spread all over a table when you use
them, but I do a simple re-crafting,
which some would call a "hack" of the
device to place it all in a single box
or carrying case.

I can get as many of these devices as
we have Level 7 Checkers, so no
problem there. The checking procedure
is the same for all level 7s on all
stages, so there's only one training
needed, and I'm relatively certain I
can offer that training in a live
online class so you can ask questions
while we work through it -- and
questions there certainly will be.

In very high levels of training,
you'll need meteorite grippers
crafted around a pair of GAO cores.
These are so rare and expensive that
I can't make them to send out, but
by that time, your Essential Self
should be so highly rehabbed that
money will no longer be an issue in
your life, and a plane flight to the
HomeWorld Training Center in Grass
Valley will not be a major obstacle.

THERE'S A MISTAKE IN THE INDUCTION!!!

More than just a few folks have
written in saying that I made a
mistake in one of the inductions
or another...actually, the
inductions are written out in
script form and then the recording
is double-checked against the script,
and there aren't any mistakes in the
inductions...they're intended to
confuse at certain points.

Keep in mind that the Beta-Brain
resists change, and tends to get
upset about confusing things...in
short, the Beta-Brain has tons of
issues.

If the Beta-Brain gets upset about
the "wrongness" of an induction,
don't panic, don't give up and
don't worry about the fact that
you'll probably feel like stressing
about it all. That's totally
intentional.

When you play a game -- any game
from Monopoly to Poker -- there
are bound to be obstructions and
times of confusion, stress and most
of all, frustration. Without
frustration, you'd stop playing the
game almost at the start. Frustration
is part of every game and should be
part of every learning curve, and
in my game of Beta-Blocking, it is
definitely built in quite
deliberately.

If you just cannot stand an induction
because there are so many "mistakes"
in it, as I said, don't panic. It's
a powerful indicator that you need
the Frustration Induction first.

Even if you don't get that "wrongness"
hit from the inductions, if you
suffer from extreme anal-retentive
obsessive-compulsive disorder,
you might want to give it a whirl.

I can't say that it's the cure, but
it certainly will give you a different
perspective on the obsessive-compulsive
problem you face every day, and in
the end, you might just, in spite of
yourself and all your internal processes
and childhood training, learn to relax
that anal sphincter just a little.

Don't forget that the muscles in
the anus are almost the same as those
around the mouth -- they're two ends
of the same tube -- and that if your
anal muscles are tense, your mouth
muscles will tend to be the same...so
here's a way to reduce those horrible
facial wrinkles that you might never
have thought of!

Quite seriously, stress comes
directly from stressing. Sounds
obvious, but that simple fact doesn't
appear to have made it into Popular
Wisdom as of this date.

Stress can cause muscles to contract;
not just the muscles you can see, but
the internal ones that cause really
bad things to happen inside your body.
That stress is manageable by the
Essential Self, and is part of the
WHY of meditation.

Deep Meditation and Affirmation is
a powerful key toward mastering the
stress of just plain being alive on
Planet Earth, and could be a strong
ally in learning to get along in
parallel worlds and the Afterlife
as well.

DIFFUSION

If, after you've done some Beacon
work, you feel a bit scattered,
diffused and vulnerable, you might
want to try equipping yourself with

When exploring other dimensions,
there are always dangers -- entities
both unconscious and malevolent are
waiting to eat the unsuspecting
traveler, just as you'd expect to
find when traveling on Earth in
foreign lands and big cities.

To them, we're rubes, potential
victims with no idea that we are
targets for their hatred, lust,
nastiness and sheer desire to dominate.

In addition, there are subtle
dangers...the biggest danger of all
is not violence or malevolent spirits.
They're the least of your worries.
The biggest threat Out There is
seduction.

Worlds await that seem...more inviting,
more thrilling, more....well,
seductive.

It's sometimes hard to turn away from
seduction, even though you know
better. Every seduction leads to
disappointment, because there's
never ever really anything behind it.

OPERATING IN A PARALLEL WORLD

Have you ever actually tried the New
Age imperative, "Be Here Now" and
failed? The reason you failed is
because you are already Here Now.
There's no way to get Here from
Here.

Actually the real trick is to Be
There Then...to operate and live
successfully in another world...
unless you prefer the level of
violence and treachery here in this
one, in which case, you need not
ever perfect the skills necessary
to Be There Then.

If on the other hand, you'd like to
learn how to Be There Then, you'll
need to develop certain very definite
skills, and one way to learn them is
to utilize a specific class of videogame.

The videogames we play and recommend
lend themselves to the methodology
of reaching into an entirely different
dimension and operating a character
there from here by a system of remote
control.

Operating a character in a different
dimension or world is not an easy
task, and it is hard to realize that
the world in which the character
resides is very real to that character
if not to you at first.

Eventually you come to cognite on
the fact that when you operate a
character in another world, whether
virtual or actual in your estimation,
you are doing something very real and
that there are consequences that are
very real in the target world.

Some of those consequences will
certainly reflect the situation in
your present Home Universe, and some
of the effects of that other world
will certainly reach you regardless
of where you think you live.

In much the same way that you can
learn to drive a car or fly a plane
using simulation gear, you can learn
to operate in other worlds using
a variety of virtual simulation
worlds such as Team Fortress 2 and
Diablo 2. In our GODD environments,
the simulation is even closer to
the actuality you will experience
as you traverse space and time and
learn to voyage through the veils
and boundaries of this space-time
continuum we call "our universe".

Learning to remote operate a
character in a different world or
environment can help you to overcome
your natural reluctance to lose
the slim margin of control you are
convinced you have over your
present environment.

Notice that I did not say you had
actual control, but most folks are
convinced that they do exert some
control over their lives until
something happens to open their eyes
to the fact that they don't now and
never did have control over themselves
or their lives.

While control is not the issue, it
is the primary force that keeps you
imprisoned in the Home Dimension,
and it is a result of the enforcement
of the Beta-Brain, which was imposed
upon you shortly after you took rebirth
in the universe you call Home.

Learning to operate in other worlds
opens many doors of perception
and shows you that it is possible to
live in other, quite different,
realities and survive. There is no
skill more important than learning
how to operate in many worlds...and
actually many worlds at once!!!

Admin Overkill

GOREBAGG RANTS ON ADMIN ISSUES

Are you an admin on a TF2 server?
Do you sometimes long for the good
old days when you could actually
play instead of resolving issues
with pubs???

Maybe you are suffering from
OAS...Over-Admin Syndrome....

OAS is a result of admins trying to
exert too much control. Just what is
"too much", anyway?

Let's examine the situation calmly
and without prejudice.

1. TF2 is a game. A friggin' game,
folks. It's just a bunch of pixels.

2. TF2 is a PG-13 rated game.
Have you ever really listened to
the built-in soundbytes of the various
classes, especially the scout?

3. There's a LOT of violence in
TF2, and you will note that the demo
man wields a booze bottle, there's a
jar of pee you can throw on enemies
and more.

4. There's a voice comm channel
which can be either team talk or all-
talk. That means that anyone can at
any time let loose with a curse or
two when they get frustrated, and
the game is meant to be frustrating
so it's fun to play over and over
again.

5. There's an unrestricted text
comm as well, both team and general,
and there are no "blockers" naturally
occurring in the game to defeat
attempts to write words not
considered okay by the admin group
on a server.

6. Most of the serious admin
problems are related strictly to
disrespect of the game, the server,
other players and/or the admins who
serve the server and keep the game
honest. That means cheaters and
disruptors need to be kicked and
banned if they seriously disrupt
the game or actually threaten the
server's ability to deliver services
to the public.

7. "Bad" language is very very
subjective. Nobody really knows which
words are "bad" on a server until they
are specifically defined, and no two
groups of people agree on which words
are not okay...that having been said,
there are two schools of thought here:

a. It's nicer to have a server
where foul and obscene discussions
are not occurring and where female
players and kids can have some safety
from obsenity and downright sexual
aggression.

b. Have you ever served in the
Armed Forces? Well, I have, and one
thing I can tell you for sure is
that some words which are considered
offensive in public are peppered
very freely in conversation, and
especially in combat, where stress
relief is vital. When some people
play, they express themselves with
"curse" words. Keep in mind that
those Anglo-Saxon words were once
quite acceptable in public, while
words we consider today to be
very acceptable were considered
very gross and totally obscene,
such as "plow" and "furrow". The
word "heck" is acceptable as a
substitute for "hell", although
"heck" is short for "Hecate" the
goddess of the witches...So where
does that lead??? Keep in mind that
psychological warfare is a
well-studied art -- we are reprinting
Paul Linebarger's classic
"Psychological Warfare" textbook
because it is an important aspect
of combat. Taunting is part of TF2
and is built into the game, so why
not allow verbal taunting, to egg
someone on the opposite team to make
a mistake by using the Dark Side of
the Force -- ie; getting angry???
Are you torn on this issue? If so,
search your feelings, Luke.

8. There are players with "issues"
that are not actually destructive to
the game, such as the inability to jump.
Jumping is a skill that is learned with
time and the repeated use of a mouse
button -- I go the extra mile and find
myself a 3-button mouse that can allow
me to jump more easily, but a "tab"
jump is just as easy WITH PRACTICE.
The net result is that on some
servers, engineers can no longer
place teles on the "ramp room" or
courtyard stairs to prevent scouts
and spies from zooming past their
sentry guns...why??? You are not going
to believe this...because some players
can't jump over them. Suppress the
giggles for a moment and consider
their plight...it's solved simply
by having a school or a server which
offers jump training, just as we used
to do with rocket jump training for
soldiers in TF1 and TFC. We have
schools for admins, so why not for
ordinary players?

9. There are a lot more issues
that an admin really does need to
resolve and act on...however, the
paperwork for admin actions increases
the larger and less monitored a server
or clan grows. With unmonitored and
even with skilled and highly disciplined
admins, the potential for abuse grows
and grows...so we then have the need
to implement a huge amount of
paperwork, screen shots, condumps
and more to justify each and every
action taken as an admin. Simple
TRUST is not possible when there
are too many admins to monitor
successfully. If the goal of a clan
or server is to foster unlimited GROWTH
at any cost, paperwork will be the
inevitable result, making the clan
or admin team something like a
government. If you play TF2 to get
away from governing, as I do with
a huge staff and thousands of clients,
you will appreciate the least amount
of paperwork possible.

10. When you have to recruit
hundreds of admins, there must be
heavy penalties for abuse, and heavy
restrictions on them.

11. Hundreds of admins who are
recruited at the rate of dozens per
day with a totally unrestricted
growth rate means hundreds of not
necessarily highly disciplined people
with admin powers. Having seen a number
of training classes for admins with
people running amok, killing each other
and grabbing intels and flags while
teachers are trying their best to
explain the duties and technical
skills of admin, I am convinced that
there's a lot of tolerance built-in
to the system to allow for total asshats
to abuse players until they get caught,
which might be never.

12. Hundreds of admins who are not
highly motivated except for the status
they get as admins will mean that they
have to be kept "happy" as admins,
which means THEY HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING
TO DO. Usually admins don't have to do
very much, unless the server directors
create "make-work" for them to keep
them active, alert and feeling useful.
This all-too-often encourages over-admin,
in much the same way that customs
officials like to exert their small
power over people who would
ordinarily not be under their
domination. This itself can eventually
lead to some serious abuse and
absurdities over "control issues".
In my opinion, some servers give their
admins a ridiculous number of control
issues to deal with, simply to keep
them interested and feeling useful,
and in some cases, encouraging that
domination syndrome from a small
amount of power over others.

13. My personal take on all this
is to run my server with this in mind:
unless there's a serious and profound
effect on the server, game and other
players, admins are not to interfere
with the gamers or gameplay. If
someone is disrupting the whole
server and is being a total griefer,
then heck, yes, kick and/or ban the
player and let them find somewhere
else to go. There are indeed some
players who thrive on being banned
and who actually brag about being
banned on thousands of servers.
Very well, kick and ban them, but
you're going to have to do a lot
of kicking and banning if
you manufacture offenses just to
give admins something to do.

14. One more issue -- we do not
allow "invasion" of our servers,
which means people infiltrating from
other clans and servers in order to
recruit members to fill their servers.
Everyone wants their servers fully
populated, but fair's fair, and I
feel that infiltration is NOT a fair
practice...so players coming in to
"snipe" our server population or our
clan members are quickly banned...not
kicked, not warned, just banned,
period. I feel that sniping clan
members is MUCH more offensive than
any language or placement of
inconvenient teleports.

There, I've had my say. If I've
offended anyone with this rant on
admin practices, I wouldn't be
surprised...anytime anyone talks
honestly, they can't help but offend
someone somewhere. I sincerely hope
that this little dissertation helps
some folks who are overburdened by
Over-Admin Syndrome. It can only
happen when the policies of GROWTH
AT ANY COST are applied...and those
are the same tactics and practices
that exist on corporate levels. TF2
is my way of briefly escaping the
corporate world in which we all
live. I surely do not want to bring
the world of used-car sales, Amway
Recruiting, Ponzi Schemes and
Tupperware Parties into my gaming
world.

1.Where did Dungeon Party come from?

Back in 1974 my friends Gary Gygax
and Dave Arnesson got me involved
in the game which they had developed
at school -- they were bored and
passed graph paper back and forth
during classes. Claude and I have
done duty as DMs...Dungeon
Masters...for decades and have
written literally thousands of maps
for it along with monster tables,
weapon tables, treasure tables and
more. Recently, D&D evolved for us
into the game we're introducing as
Dungeon Party.

2.Where did the name Dungeon Party come from?

Hehe, I was online and decided to
look it up. To my total surprise,
nobody had bought the website, so
I sprang for 10 bucks and bought it,
then brainstormed with Claude on
how to use it. Dungeon Party as a
tabletop was the result of the
brainstorming session.

3.Why should I want to play Dungeon Party?

You shouldn't, unless you want
practice running your Parallel
World Personas. That's what DP is
all about -- learning how to run a
character in another universe from
the viewpoint of your Home Universe.

4.How is it played?

It's very easy to play Dungeon Party,
much easier than Dungeons & Dragons,
which requires many very intricate
dice rolls and such. You'll
only be using the 4-sided,
6-sided and 20-sided dice rather
than a whole set of percentage
rolling dice. You elect a Dungeon
Master (DM) who runs the map and
does the counter-rolls of dice.
The DM tells the party what
happened as a result, keeps track
of the party and monsters and
treasures and weapons and such,
and basically works as a moderator
for the game.

As few as 2 players and as many

The Community Universe

AN INVITATION

We will be meeting on Saturday
morning, July 25, 2009 to enact
certain rules and regulations and
obligations of members of our
community along gaming clan lines,
which have worked for many decades
to handle problems and interactions
among members.

If you decide not to participate,
you have no legitimate complaint
about the rules we adopt. At this
internet meeting/workshop, we will
make decisions that will profoundly
affect everyone connected with our
work community.

This is your chance to voice your
opinions! If you don't speak up and
vote on the issues, you'll have to
live with whatever those who did
attend have decided for you.

OUR COMMUNITY

We are big enough now to need a
serious re-examination of exactly
how our work community works on a
day-to-day basis.

One model of the community universe
is that of a gaming clan, and that's
precisely what I have in mind for
the admin functions of our now worldwide
community. We've grown so large that
no one person can administrate, and
large enough that not even a small
group of cadre would be able to handle
all the problems that arise in a
community of this size.

In short, we need policies and admin
people to keep those policies working
for us.

I therefore propose to devote the
next ICW to the issue of admin and
community standards of behavior,
interaction and communication, with
the accent mainly on the need for
respect to the community, the admins
and the work itself.

I would use our online gaming clan
rules and regs as a template for the
community as a whole, expanding the
clan concepts into all areas of work
efforts and interactions of members.

I would start IMMEDIATELY with a clan
membership roll and a clear
definition of rights, regulations,
powers and obligations of members,
admins and cadre.

In my opinion the whole of our
regulations and requirements for
membership in whatever the organized
whole would be should be laid down
in immaculate and exquisite detail
covering every known contingency of
action and reaction in a community
such as ours.

Clan rules definitely DO work. They
have been proven over a period of
several decades. I strongly suggest
we adopt those rules and system of
admin that we now use on our TF2
servers to handle situations that
come up in the course of events
every single day.

One Word

ACTUAL VOICE OF GOD

In the Act of Creation -- the Big
Bang -- the Logos, or One Word, was
uttered, and the Void became manifest.
We all know that factoid from our
Old Testament or the equivalent
thereof in any religion, any language.
It's the one thing about which all
religions and philosophies agree in
one form or another, whether we
think of the Word of Creation as
strictly mechanical or in some way
personified.

At that moment of Creation, which
physicists and cosmologists call the
Big Bang, an enormous explosion of
space and time ripped out of an
incredible tiny supermass which was,
according to calculations, about the
size of a mustard seed. Again, our
Old and New Testament in the West
and most of the Bibles of the world
agree on this point.

What happened to that very first
sound, that "Big Doh" of Creation?
It expanded, of course, and has
continued to expand at an
accelerating rate since that first
moment. We can see it in the
microwave background radiation maps
that have been charted out during
the past decade of great
cosmological discoveries.

So far, nothing found by cosmologists
disagrees with the Old Testament on
these issues. The Sound of Creation
is by any definition, the Voice of God.

This "First Sound" has reached us from
the Big Bang. It is contained in the
static that we can hear in an analog
AM radio which has been tuned to any
point between stations.

It is the fundamental operating
principle of the Beta-Blocker. If
you were to connect a set of
headphones or an amplifier-speaker
to any of my Beta-Blockers, you
would hear, somewhere inside the
static, the actual Voice of
God speaking in the Void.

The Big Bang

STAR STATIC

The digital revolution has left
as its victim radiation from the
event that signals the first moment
of the universe -- The Big Bang.
An analog radio set that has been
specially tuned between broadcast
channels receives static, the result
of energy left over from the super-hot
primordial universe as it existed in
the first few seconds of creation.
This static is known as the Cosmic
Microwave Background Radiation, and
its discovery in the 1960s proved
conclusively the Big Bang Theory and
Parallel Universes, which are today
all the rage on the Science
Channel and talk shows... but

that when you operate a character in another
world,whether virtual or actual in your
estimation, you are doing something very real
and that there are consequences that are very
real in the target world.

Some of those consequences will certainly
reflect the situation in your present Home
Universe, and some of the effects of that
other world will certainly reach you regardless

In much the same way that you can learn to
drive a car or fly a plane using simulation
gear, you can learn to operate in other worlds
using a variety of virtual simulation worlds
such as Team Fortress 2 and Diablo 2. In our
GODD environments, the simulation is even closer
to the actuality you will experience
as you traverse space and time and learn to
voyage through the veils and boundaries of
this space-time continuum we call "our universe".

Learning to remote operate a character in a
different world or environment can help you
to overcome your natural reluctance to lose
the slim margin of control you are convinced
you have over your present environment.

Notice that I did not say you had actual control,
but most folks are convinced that they do exert
some control over their lives until something
happens to open their eyes to the fact that they
don't now and never did have control over
themselves or their lives.

While control is not the issue, it is the
primary force that keeps you imprisoned in
the Home Dimension, and it is a result of the
enforcement of the Beta-Brain, which was
imposed upon you shortly after you took
rebirth in the universe you call Home.

Learning to operate in other worlds opens
many doors of perception and shows you that
it is possible to live in other, quite different,
realities and survive. There is no skill more
important than learning how to operate in many

INTRODUCTION TO THE BEACON

The Beacon is a highly modified crystal radio
connected to a pair of copper-wrapped quartz

The body when correctly stimulated can operate as

I WAKE UP SCREAMING

Voyaging By Possession

Being "possessed" has lots of negative connotations
among Earthian humans, but it isn't all about malevolent spirits entering our bodies while we sneeze, cough or yawn. We have counterspells against evil spirits coming in through the open mouth..."bless you" when we sneeze or cough, and we cover our mouths when we yawn, to block the open doorway.

The fact is that we are possessed anyway, every single day and night of our lives, whether we like it or not. We have a variety of astral parasites, some of which are your younger selves, some are your parents, teachers and acquaintances of your youth, still haunting you with a variety of commands, taunts, demands and beliefs.

We ourselves possess others. When traveling from one parallel world to another during the night-dreaming state, we occupy a variety of bodies in a number of different universes, and some of those bodies we drift into and out of might not resemble human biped life-forms at all.

In conscious Astral Slipstreaming using a Beacon Strapper, we might be a bit uncomfortable about occupying a life-form that is very different from the one we identify with so easily and convincingly, but the fact is that with the mental buffer of the Beta-Brain, we cannot really know what our normal body actually might be.

We slip and drift and stumble and wander from one reality stream to another all day and all night long, and as we do, the self-image shifts with the voyage, making each "place" or "body" seem as if it were the one in which we were born or spawned.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Through the control of the Beta-Brain, all facts about ourselves, our history,our beliefs, our destiny and our present relationships are shifted too. We assume that we have always lived in the body we are in at any given moment, and that its history is our history.

One single moment's examination will prove this assumption totally false.

You are not the person you were as a child, or as you were ten years ago.Memory of that person's life will seem as a dream to you, as well it should. You have not been in that body very long, and within a very few minutes, you will leave that universe or parallel world and enter into another, where your Beta-Brain in that world will do its best to convince you that whatever organic vehicle you landed in has always been your home, into which you were born and from which you will someday die.

Possession is the means by which we enter and leave bodies. Not all of those bodies, by the way, are biped, human or even organic. Some are made of light. Some are made of magnetics. Some are collections of elements making a "Portuguese Man O'War" type jellyfish, an assemblage or colony of separate life-forms making a coherent somewhat cooperative whole, such as a Slime Mold or a Human Being which is, technically, merely a cluster of smaller organics in a cooperative colony, just like a school of fish, a swarm of bees, or a pride of lions.

Traveling from one universe to another by leaving one form and entering another is technically called Voyaging by Possession, and is the main method used by shamen, who often call it "shape-shifting".

We will explore this method of interdimensional travel using the Beacon Strapper and the Beta-Blocker Amulet.

Why should we be interested in interdimensional voyaging? Because we do it all the time, but we do it in our sleep, even when we are awake.

Where are we going?

Why, Home, of course. But when we get there, we want to arrive with all the beingness and conscious awareness we can muster. And that's the point of the Brane-Power Training. To assemble ourselves around the Essential Self and to arrive as a collected beingness, to Invoke our Presence and to truly Be Here Now. Voyaging by Possession is one method of achieving this.

Using Astral Slipstreaming, you can easily navigate to the best work-path and bring yourself into the world in which you are Enlightened and working in The Work. You can only make conscious choices if you are able to see the crossroads clearly. Brane-Power is the way Home.
